As a fourteen-year-old that could barely read or write, Neville ventured out into the unknown world of the outback into the rough and tumble world of the shearing sheds where his education began.
Through many trials and tribulations, he tried his hand at a variety of jobs and occupations, ending up as the managing director of an international Pharmaceutical company. Along the way, he gathered the experiences that formed the basis of his six books.
Writing was never an ambition, only coming to fruition over the past seven years when he was encouraged to write down his experiences.
His offbeat sense of humour and long memory, together with an almost complete disregard for the truth, in some cases, produced his books.
He is currently working on the seventh; a total work of fiction based on today's political upheavals.
Neville writes for his entertainment and as he says to stop his brain from going completely to porridge, although he is not sure if he is actually achieving the latter.
